The Progressive Rejection of the Founding / Progressives rejected the timeless principles of the American Founding and instead argued that the ends of government ought to be relative to historical circumstances. They viewed the Constitution as a “living” document, which could be transformed to meet the exigencies of the modern age. This lecture is part of a free online course produced by Hillsdale College. This week we will be joined by Beaufort County Treasurer Maria Walls who will discuss recent changes to the Treasurer's office. Other speakers include Heather Galvin, candidate for Beaufort County Probate Judge, and Carlton Dallas, candidate for Beaufort County School Board.
